QUICK AND AFFORDABLE! I brought my C230 into IAS for check engine diagnosis. My engine was running really rough when trying to accelerate! The guys at this shop took me in same day and got me out before the end of the day! I thought I was going to be stuck without a car for days. They inspected my vehicle and setup a plan for me to budget repairs. Nothing but friendly and affordable service at this spot!

If you want incredibly honest prices, trustworthy experienced mechanics and blissful happiness, Congratulations. YOU HAVE FOUND IT. I was buying my first car and wanted it checked out by a mechanic before buying. *** got the car in quickly and did a thorough look-over. He pointed out any problems he found, big and small, and explained the impact they would have, which I appreciated so much - buying a used car I DID NOT want any surprises after I bought it. He never even mentioned having the problems fixed by him. He wasn't looking to sell his services, just giving honest feedback. I brought another used car for the same kind of inspection a few days later. Again I got fast, thorough and honest service. They didn't even charge for the second visit! Finally I brought in a third car - ****** got the car in immediately and AGAIN didn't charge me for the Pre-Purchase Auto Inspection. After giving me the green I bought the car and they were absolutely right - going on three months and NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. These guys are phenomenal. They're good at what they do. They're honest. What's more, they're stellar people. I will never take my car to another mechanic as long as I live (in Florida).

I no longer live in Lexington, but wanted to have my clutch replaced during a family visit. We called around and were impressed by the professionalism of Import Auto. The clutch was replaced in a timely fashion at a very reasonable price. The shop and waiting area are clean and accommodating. Most importantly, the mechanics are respectful and not at all condescending to their clientele, which is nearly as important to me as the quality of the work. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Great place to bring my car. Friendly staff. I was greeted with a warm hello and a smile. Service was done promptly and on time. Their estimate was accurate and they checked some things I never thought about like "air pressure in my spare tire". Their free 32 point inspection brought to light a worn bushing in my suspension and an oil leak from my valve cover gasket. Again things I never thought to look at. I will definitely bring my car back. Best auto repair in San Diego!

My story begins with a 2004 VW Touareg...I initially brought my car here for a blower motor fan replacement. My prior mechanic had charged me to diagnose this issue, but failed to apply my diagnostic fee towards the actual repair... who does that, right?! IAS came referred to me by my boss, who was referred to them by his friend.I called and spoke with Charles. And like a damaged girlfriend, I talked to him pretty dry and bluntly. But it didn't even faze him. He actually was still very helpful, pleasant and accommodating to my blower motor issue. He coordinated my repair from start to finish while meeting promised timelines and courtesy shuttle service (which I found most helpful since I work and have to pick up kids from daycare by a certain time). The pricing was typical but he did offer me a 10% discount to help me out. After this initial experience back in June, I've taken my car there for some other electrical items (who knew the 2004 Touareg electronics suck!). And they have been more than helpful, professional and timely. I was even offered a courtesy oil change in order to encourage proper scheduled maintenance as "it helps them when I keep on top the little things". Thought that was cool to have a garage look out for my car like that. Mechanics are scary but IAS has definitely broken my preconceptions. Try them out and make sure to ask for Charles.

Gave a spot on quote over the phone and was able to get my car in and out quicker than expected, the price was very competitive for the amount of labor it takes to work on the front end of the 2.7T. Even had him check out a small coolant leak and was able to take care of it relatively cheap. Very glad I put my car in these guys hands. Great shop, great workers, great price, and overall this is by far my best experience with any mechanic shop I've ever dealt with. Highly recommended.

Good honest efficient friendly, a well run business. Have serviced all my cars for years.

Service here is excellent. The staff is very thorough about documenting and explaining issues to you and in correcting problems. Regardless of whether you drive a rustbucket old Honda or a brand new Mercedes they really go out of their way to make you feel like a high value customer. Only complaint is that labor rates are a bit on the high side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

They have done an amazing job on my BMW... Todd is friendly and honest. They have one of the most state of the art computers to diagnose your vehicle and their work is outstanding. I will be bringing my car back to they when it needs more service.
