2012 Subaru Legacy with an electronic parking brake not engaging. I called several shops all of whom mentioned they don’t work on an electronic parking brake and I should go to a dealer. Excellent updates from the staff throughout the repair. Detailed explanation and estimates of worst case scenario and what they thought after initial inspection. They told me what they thought they had to do, did not charge me parts/ replacements that turned out unnecessary, and made it right the first go - very quickly. Thanks very much.

This was the best car repair experience so far. From the moment Bill answered the phone and i explained the nature of the problem, I felt my Volkswagen Tiguan SE would be in good hands with Import Auto Specialist and their service proved to be impeccable. They looked at the car shortly after it was towed and send full diagnostic report highlighting what needs to get looked at first. The communication process was stellar, Bill was super clear every step of the way with the costs of estimate and repairs and it only added to the feeling of trust. The car was fixed in a short amount of time and they even passed on to us the discount that the part vendor issued them. Their service in nationwide and is backed by 30,000 or 36,000 miles warranty. If you are looking for excellent car mechanics, who are efficient, trustworthy and affordable please give Import Auto Specialist a call.

I was their customer for number of years servicing our sons VW. Referred people to them. During the last visit they sent me a report definitely looking for money. Charged $142+to just perform check engine light . Also quoted more money for brake service than a MBZ dealer for my car.I checked with other businesses for the brake service and it was almost half the price.When I mentioned my disappointment , I was told ( by the owner via his employee) that they checked the record,and apparently they were charging me “NOT ENOUGH”? for the past services I had them do it on the car(😳). I will not be back.

IAS has been my go to for service and repair on my Audis and VWs for over 10 years. I highly recommend them for the excellent customer service and better than OEM work performance. No hassles or mystery mechanic charges with this place! You always know what is going on and they help keep your expectations in check.
