Service here is excellent. The staff is very thorough about documenting and explaining issues to you and in correcting problems. Regardless of whether you drive a rustbucket old Honda or a brand new Mercedes they really go out of their way to make you feel like a high value customer. Only complaint is that labor rates are a bit on the high side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

They have done an amazing job on my BMW... Todd is friendly and honest. They have one of the most state of the art computers to diagnose your vehicle and their work is outstanding. I will be bringing my car back to they when it needs more service.

Alternator went out on my 2004 Audi A6, Charles at IAS was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. Gave a spot on quote over the phone and was able to get my car in and out quicker than expected, the price was very competitive for the amount of labor it takes to work on the front end of the 2.7T. Even had him check out a small coolant leak and was able to take care of it relatively cheap. Very glad I put my car in these guys hands. Great shop, great workers, great price, and overall this is by far my best experience with any mechanic shop I've ever dealt with. Highly recommended.

My story begins with a 2004 VW Touareg... I initially brought my car here for a blower motor fan replacement. My prior mechanic had charged me to diagnose this issue, but failed to apply my diagnostic fee towards the actual repair... who does that, right?! IAS came referred to me by my boss, who was referred to them by his friend. I called and spoke with Charles. And like a damaged girlfriend, I talked to him pretty dry and bluntly. But it didn't even faze him. He actually was still very helpful, pleasant and accommodating to my blower motor issue. He coordinated my repair from start to finish while meeting promised timelines and courtesy shuttle service (which I found most helpful since I work and have to pick up kids from daycare by a certain time). The pricing was typical but he did offer me a 10% discount to help me out. After this initial experience back in June, I've taken my car there for some other electrical items (who knew the 2004 Touareg electronics suck!). And they have been more than helpful, professional and timely. I was even offered a courtesy oil change in order to encourage proper scheduled maintenance as "it helps them when I keep on top the little things". Thought that was cool to have a garage look out for my car like that. Mechanics are scary but IAS has definitely broken my preconceptions. Try them out and make sure to ask for Charles.

Matt and everyone at Import were great to work with. I had my BMW serviced recently and after searching all over San Diego, I was extremely happy with the price and service. I will never take my car to the dealer again!
