These guys were great and highly accommodating. I live in the Styx and have a long daily commute. My check engine light turned on. Regrettably, I wasn’t maintaining my cars oil as much as I should be with how much I drive. Initially I had taken my car to the dealership, where they told me it would cost $6,000 to take apart the engine just so they could see what needed to be repaired. They gave me a worst case scenario of $15,000. I still owed $12,600 on my vehicle. I went home and cried that day. I composed myself, called around for different mechanics and talked to Brian who recommended cleaning out the crankcase before saying my engine needed to be taken apart. This would cost $250. I asked for a worst case scenario engine rebuild which he quoted around $8,900. Still MUCH more cost efficient than the dealerships $15,000. I took it in, they performed their service and texted me a link to my cars report, which was very professional, user friendly and easy to understand. They even had a section with what the next steps would be if my check engine light were to turn back on. I was impressed. Because i live out in the goonies I had questions about how many days I could leave my car there before I could get down to the area again. Although I was able to make it down sooner than I thought, they were extremely accommodating and mentioned an after hours way I could pick up my car. I work 2 jobs with a long commute. This meant everything to me. I should also mention, I’m a 33 y/o independent female that has basic automotive knowledge. The prime subject that could be taken advantage of by mechanics. These guys were respectful, not condescending and honest. I have now driven my car all the way back home (over 65 miles) and my check engine light has not turned back on and is driving normally. Again, this cost me $250 vs the (at least) $6,000 the dealership quoted to just take apart the engine. Hopefully my car stays this way, but if the light does turn back on, I’m taking it to these guys, cuz they rule. I’m a funeral professional. My life is literally serving people and good service means a lot to me. Not to mention, I will be going back to school this year and this was my money for school that these guys just potentially saved me. So thank you.

Import Auto Specialist is the premiere place to take your vehicle if you find yourself needing vehicle repairs. They took on this project that many turned down and did it with communication each step of the way. Definitely not the shop that you must have to call over and over to get updates, they are very upfront with what needs to be done and what can wait if your budget is tight, a repair shop that is very difficult to find but when you do find, you hold on tight to that business card cause they do the best work in town, super knowledgeable in all vehicles and how do I know this? Well, a local shop had my Range Rover first because I did not know of IAS yet, it took the shop I won't name 30 days to get me a diagnosis and was unable to after 30 days staring at it. However, fed up and disgusted with the broken promises of knowing how to work on my Range Rover brand, I decided to venture out and read reviews this time and IAS no doubt had gleaming past experiences by customers which led me to call and see if they would look at my rr so I could keep my job and get off the trolley. He agreed to take it on and by day 1.5, came in on Monday and by Tuesday afternoon a detailed diagnosis of the truck was performed, the cost, and the breakdown of other items from serious to minor were also annotated so I could make a well educated decision on the services I require moving forward. I am beyond ecstatic for finally making a great decision for once and selecting IAS to be my auto Specialist when my vehicle needs a repair. I got my car and it had been washed and was waiting for me and I didn't even recognize the car, they got it in junk yard shape and I got it back in floor model shape. Thank you fellas down at IAS, the best experience I have had in my 45 years breathing
