Bill and the team were thorough and extra expedient in delivering the services I requested! They included explicit follow up directions to prevent similar problems in the future. This is my home base for the car I am blessed to drive and for my son’s special needs van!! Also, a few years back when I went to Bill to receive a second opinion on a large repair job, Bill explained that I had been overcharged by $800. That was when Bill and his team became my home for my vehicle repairs!!!

Found this shop through CarMax as I have a care plan through them and IAS is an in-network repair shop. Making an appointment was very easy online and I could get one only a few days out, and I called the shop to clarify how it worked with CarMax and they explained it well. The diagnostic was really thorough and I appreciated that something the dealership said needed replacement, they said looked fine (because this makes me feel like they're not trying to do anything possible to make quick money, even if it's not necessary). It did seem like the process of them getting "approval" from CarMax was a pain, but all along Bill was really great about fast and thorough updates, detailed quotes, how the process worked, and what timeframe to expect. Also when I picked up my car, the front office was empty and one of the technicians rang me up and was very friendly, which doesn't always feel like the case when technicians "have to" deal directly with customers so that was appreciated. Overall really happy with the work done here and pricing was cheaper than the dealership for every item I had to compare (not that that's the best standard, but still). I will definitely come back in the future for additional maintenance.

I managed to lose a caliper bolt on my way to work, making my car unsafe to drive. I usually do my own repairs but really didn’t want to risk getting the wrong part. Brakes are important! I was stressing out about it and trying to figure out a fix when a friend recommended I check out Import Auto Specialists. I dropped my car off before work and a few hours later, I was back on the road!

Very professional and courteous personnel, and very nice facility. They obviously have the skilled technicians and expert tools, which enabled them to repair my vehicle. I had visited two other auto repair garages which could not help me, and then I was referred to Import Auto Specialists. I finally found someone who could help me. They also completed the repair in less time than anticipated so that was also a plus.
